The liquid flowing into the Turbotron turbine flow sensor is divided into partial jets by the guide blading. These hit the impeller evenly from different directions and set it in rotation. The speed of the impeller is now converted into an electrical pulse signal (frequency): the impeller is magnetically equipped, a Hall effect sensor detects the rotary movement. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square wave signal) is available. The geometry of the guide blades and impeller enables the very low start-up values to be achieved. Application areas: Monitoring of cooling circuits in machine and plant construction. water treatment. cleaning processes. dosage.
