Plate spring gauges are used to measure gases and liquids. Plate spring manometers cover measuring ranges from 10 mbar up to 40 bar. The measuring element consists of a clamped between two flanges, circular diaphragm spring. The pressure acting on the plate spring or negative pressure causes a deformation of the measuring element. The size of the deformation is the measure of the pressure to be measured and is transferred to the pointer movement.
