Pressure gauges with capsule:
A capsule consists of two circular corrugated membranes or a membrane and a base plate, which are joined pressure-tight at the edge. The measuring pressure is introduced in the center of one of the membranes and acts on the inside of the capsule.
The stroke generated thereby is a measure of the pressure. Capsule pressure gauges are not suitable for liquid media. The measuring spans range from 2.5 mbar to 600 mbar in the classes 0.6 to 1.6. Depending on the material, the display deviation with temperature change is between 0.3% and 0.4% per 10 K.
