OLAS GPS wearable crew tracker

Most often a yacht is manned by 2 people. A great danger is when one of them is below deck and the other one falls overboard unnoticed. If this is only noticed after hours it is too late! It is important that you ALWAYS wear an activated OLAS wristband on your wrist, if the Bluetooth connection with the paired device(cell phone, pad) is cut, i.e. the distance is more than 20 m, the device immediately sounds an alarm.

All you need are the OLAS wristbands and your smartphone or tablet with the accompanying free APP. You decide whether you attach the transmitter to your wrist, life ring, life jacket or clothing. If the OLAS lakeside bracelet moves too far away or dives into the water, the Bluetooth connection is interrupted and your smartphone or tablet sounds the alarm. You get the alarm position including time, the course back , their coordinates and their distance displayed.

The accompanying free APP allows you to assign a name to each transmitter, view the battery status of the transmitters. But most importantly, it helps you in an emergency by displaying the text for an emergency call on channel 16 including the GPS position, shows stored emergency numbers and gives instructions for emergency maneuvers.
