The KombiTemp is a combination of a SIKA machine thermometer and an electrical temperature sensor. It is used for local temperature display and remote monitoring of liquids and gases in piping or containers.

The SIKA industrial thermometers KOMBITEMP are used in mechanical and plant engineering, in the marine industry and in heating technology and air conditioning technology. The KombiTemp has two independent measuring systems. They work according to different physical functional principles and require only one measuring point.

 

Components

the most important components of the KombiTemp are the connection head, the machine thermometer and the immersion tube.

 

The connection head

the connection head is used to connect the electrical temperature sensor for remote monitoring. In it is the measuring insert.

 

The machine thermometer

the machine thermometer displays the temperature of the measuring point directly on site. It does not require any electrical energy for the temperature display.

 

The dip tube

the immersion tube serves the process connection of the plant or the machine. It is installed in the area of ​​the measuring point. For applications with special loads, the installation of protective tubes is required.

 

The temperature is measured in the lower part of the dip tube. There is the temperature-sensitive areas of the measuring and the glass insert.
