How it works: The intelligent flow sensors of the induQ® series work according to the induction principle: the measuring tube is located in a magnetic field (B). If an electrically conductive medium with the flow rate (Q) to be determined flows through the measuring tube and thus at right angles to the magnetic field, a voltage (U) is induced in the medium which is proportional to the mean flow velocity and tapped by two electrodes. The following variant is available for a flow-proportional output signal: - Frequency output signal. The pulse rate is factory-configurable depending on the type. The sensors of the induQ® VMZ series enable flow / volume flow measurement or metering of electrically conductive liquids without moving parts. These are the ideal flow sensors when it comes to accuracy and reliability. Applications include: - Mechanical and plant engineering. - Cleaning processes. - Mobile applications.
