How it works: The intelligent flow sensors of the induQ® series work according to the induction principle: the measuring tube is located in a magnetic field (B). If an electrically conductive medium with the flow rate (Q) to be determined flows through the measuring tube and thus at right angles to the magnetic field, a voltage (U) is induced in the medium which is proportional to the mean flow velocity and tapped by two electrodes. There are two variants available for a flow-proportional output signal: - Frequency output signal (standard) - Analog and frequency output signal (option). Depending on the type, the pulse rate can be configured at the factory or on site. The sensors of the induQ® series allow a flow / volume flow measurement or metering of electrical conductive liquids without moving parts. These are the ideal flow sensors when it comes to accuracy and reliability.
