The liquid flowing into the turbine flow sensor is divided into partial jets by the guide blading. These hit the impeller evenly from different directions and set it in rotation.The speed of the impeller is now converted into an electrical pulse signal (frequency): the impeller is magnetically equipped,a Hall effect sensor detects the rotary movement. A flow-proportional frequency signal (square wave signal) is available.
The geometry of the guide blades and impeller enables the very low start-up values to be achieved. Low series spread, fixed pulse rate, low start-up. High measuring accuracy, compact dimensions.
Tried and tested in numerous large series applications.
